Podcasting

Podcasting（ポッドキャスティング）という言葉を目にする（耳にはあまりしていない…）ようになってきた。簡単に言うと、インターネットのラジオのコンテンツ（楽曲・ニュース・小説・独り言？、etc…）を自動的に収集してパソコンにファイルとして保存してくれるのである。コンテンツを収集する際には、お気に入りの局を登録しておくと、そこの局のコンテンツが更新されると自動的に新しいコンテンツをダウンロードしてくれるのである！

このラジオ局は一般的なものから個人でやっているものまで幅広く存在しており、日本でもぼちぼち増えてきた。こういった局はPodcast.netやiPodder.orgやデジオ等から探す事が出来る。

ここで探した局を専用のアプリケーションに登録をするのである。ちなみに、アプリケーション上で局を探す事も可能だ。試しにiPodder(Mac OS X版)をインストールしてみた。適当に好きなジャンルの音楽を配信している局を検索して登録すると、MP3ファイルとしてダウンロードが簡単に出来た。更にこのファイルは自動的にiTunesのライブラリに保存してくれるので、iTunesを経由してiPodに取り込む事が出来るのだ。至って簡単、お手軽♪

これで電車の中でもラジオが楽しめるという事になる。英語のコンテンツだったら英語のヒアリングの練習としてもいいかもって思う。結構流行りそうな予感！

またまた、新ネタ提供だ！
これを活用するにはiPodと活用場所が必要だねぇ。
私には両方ともないよぉ。（iPodにこだわる必要はないみたいだけど）
私の実用化はまだ先かなぁ。。。
でも、やってみたいなっ。
