日本の伝統：蔵
家の近所には昔ながらの古い家があったりして、その家の広い庭には「蔵」が建っていたりする。蔵というのはモノを保存する為に作られたものであり、燃えにくい構造で作られている。
そんな蔵たちが最近壊されているのをたまに見かける。。とても残念な気持ちになる。数こそ少ないものの、そういった昔の伝統の建造物が立ち並ぶのを見ていると心地よい。中途半端な日本の住宅が建ち並んでいるのより、蔵の白い外壁の作り出す街並はずっと美しいから。
むしろこういった建物を上手く再利用して再生して使っている店舗等も時折見かける。そういったようにずっと伝統を残していってもらいたいなと思う。良いものは良いのだから…
